What was Barbie's first dog? A poodle, of course!
Poodles have always been a popular breed but back then it was a true fever. In 1964 Barbie had her first dog, a gray poodle that was included in the Dogs n 'Duds set and it seems that they ended up in competitions, because for the Poodle Parade the following year, Barbie and her poodle had won a prize.
